Form Gym Classes at Kosciusko Park

Registration is now open at Kosciuszko park, 2732 N. Avers, for boys 6 to 15 for classes in gymnastics, small apparatus, wrestling, basketball, volleyball, trampoline and tumbling under the direction of Mike Gallo, physical instructor. Basketball leagues for men 19 years old and over and for boys 18 years old and under are now being formed at the park.

Eighty boys from eight to 13 years old participated recently in the park’s punt-pass-kick contest. Winners and runnersup in each division were: 8-year-olds-Gregory Kozlik, 3821 Diversey, Scott Suga, 2940 N. Springfield, and William Regalski. 2964 N. Ridgeway. 9-year-olds—Leonard De Paszuale, 4910 Rice, Joseph Dodaro, 2323 N. Ridgeway, and Lee Wisniewski, 3836 Diversey. 10-year olds—Gregory Wicker, 3817 Diversey, Julian Augustyn, 3819 Diversey, and Ed Lackenbach. 2947 N. Avers. 11-year-olds—Bernard Bak, 4518 Altgeld, David Franke, 4648 Wrightwood, and Ed Lackenbach, 2947 N. Avers. 12-year-olds—Robert Kopp, 2428 N. St. Louis, Walt Gubala, 2621 N. Lawndale, and Tom Nielsen, 2635 N. Springfield. 13-year-olds—Robert Zych, 2928 N. Ridgeway, John Letarte, 3846. Diversey, and Jeff Raschke, 2510 N. St. Louis.
