Wrightwood Avenue - Green Belt

The Wrightwood Avenue green space starts from the Kelvyn Park eastern border at 4400 West to Cicero at 4800 West. It is very much like nearby Kolmar Avenue, and similar Logan and Kedzie Boulevard. Wrightwood Avenue was likely was supposed to connect with Kosciusko Park via Diversey Avenue (as a boulevard), but the idea was abandoned. 

It is a calming grassy area with mature trees to reduce traffic noise for residents, and offer shade areas for larger picnics just outside the residents' front door.
